Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports around. It blends the rules and skills of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong and is played in singles or doubles on a court with a racket and a light plastic ball.
Our private outdoor pickleball courts are open for the 2026 season. Here’s what to expect:
Private Court Access
- Pickleball is open to all of our fitness centre members at no extra cost.
- Members and guests must sign in at the front desk prior to play.
- Participants must be 14 years of age or older.
- Fitness centre members can use a guest pass to bring a friend to the courts.
- Pickleball drop-in passes are available for $15.00.
How It Works
- All players (members and guests) must check in at the front desk. Members will scan in as usual. Guests must sign a waiver and pay the drop-in fee.
- You do still need to sign in at the front desk, even if you bring your own paddle.
- We have pickleball paddles and balls available for you to borrow while you’re using the courts.
- Proper non-marking court shoes must be worn on the court at all times.
Pickleball Court Hours
We’re adjusting our pickleball court hours to align with daylight hours. Our courts open at 9:00 a.m. This gives the sun time to dry the court surface so your shoes have better grip. The gates are locked at 7:00 p.m.
Round Robin Events
Our Pickleball round robins are a great way for new and experienced pickleball players to sharpen their skills and meet fellow pickleball enthusiasts. Led by Redeana, participants play five games, each game with a different partner and opponents. Pickleball round robins are included in all Heritage memberships. Guests are welcome to join us for the $15 pickleball drop-in rate.
