We are a locally owned integrative health facility that combines a state-of-the-art fitness centre, group fitness classes, and physical rehabilitation services under one roof.
What does “integrative health” mean to us?
It’s an approach that formed through the belief that good health is a combination of factors — one that includes both fitness and rehabilitation. We are the largest integrative health facility in Ontario to offer this unique combination of complementary services. Our environment encourages people of all ages and abilities to take an active role in their own health and wellness. We have created a welcoming, respectful, and community-minded environment.
Fitness
We opened our fitness centre in 2007 to create an environment that encourages people of all abilities to take an active role in nurturing good health.
Our 22,000-square-foot fitness centre includes cardio equipment, a full inventory of free weights and strength-training equipment, fitness accessories, and group fitness classes. Fitness centre memberships offer access to our entire facility. This means that for a single price, members have access to our state-of-the-art gym, pickleball courts, outdoor training space, and our schedule of group classes, including spin, yoga, hot yoga, high- and low-intensity group training, and more. Collaborative Care Centre
Although exercise is a major component of good health, so is ensuring our bodies are pain-free and function as designed.
Established in 2014, our Collaborative Care Centre has grown to include health care services such as chiropractic, concussion management, counselling, exercise rehabilitation, nutritional services, naturopathy, personal training, physiotherapy, paediatric physiotherapy, pelvic floor therapy, and registered massage therapy. Modalities available include dry needling, acupuncture, cupping, and more. View our full complement of health care modalities.
Community
We lead programs and host fundraisers that allow us to show our gratitude and provide support to those around us.
We are proud supporters of the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation, having donated over $55,000 since 2007. Our annual scholarship program extends financial assistance to local students enrolled in a post-secondary program. We support the Lanark County Food Bank (The Hunger Stop) with food drives and fundraising events. And, our youth-focused specialty programs support good physical and mental health.
