What is Athletic Therapy?
Despite the name, Athletic Therapy isn’t just for athletes! Canadians of all ages and levels of activity can benefit from Athletic Therapy treatment.
The role of a Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT) is to find and treat the cause of an injury and to provide their expertise in functional rehabilitation. Programs will be designed for postural correction, flexibility and total conditioning that can be followed at home or at the gym.
With an active patient focus during the treatment process, recovery is often achieved faster with fewer visits to their CAT. This approach to injury management helps decrease potential re-injury and gets you back to full-functioning as quickly as possible.
Athletic Therapy is great for treating:
Back & neck painFoot problems
Knee injuries
Repetitive stress injuries
Work related pain
Post surgery recovery
Athletic injuries
Chronic & arthritic pain
